Dr. Cunyu Fan, DACM, L.Ac
Acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner at Texas Acupuncture Center

Dr. Cunyu Fan, born in China, is a compassionate and highly skilled acupuncturist specializing in women’s health, fertility, and holistic care. She believes that illness and pain are signs that the body is out of balance, and her approach focuses on restoring harmony and nurturing overall well-being to help each patient thrive.
​
With a deep commitment to her patients’ health, Dr. Fan brings extensive clinical experience from prestigious institutions, including Shandong Hospital of T.C.M. and Dr. Sang’s Acupuncture Clinic in Sugar Land, TX. She also worked as a clinical assistant at JF Southwest Heart Clinic P.A. in Houston, TX, where she gained valuable interdisciplinary insight. Dr. Fan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chinese Herbology from Chengdu University of T.C.M., a Master of Science in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine from Texas Health and Science University, and a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science.

Dr. Fan is licensed by the Texas Medical Board and holds the respected Diplomate of Oriental Medicine credential from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), along with certification in Clean Needle Technique from the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (CCAOM). Her patients appreciate her thorough, personalized approach and her ability to connect across cultures with empathy and respect.

Beyond her clinical expertise, Dr. Fan’s dedication to ongoing learning and excellence is inspired by her family’s academic achievements—her twin brother holds a Ph.D. in quantum physics from the University of Illinois. When not in the clinic, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending quality time with loved ones.
