Dr. Cunyu Fan, DACM, L.Ac

China-born, Cunyu Fan is a certified acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioner at Texas Acupuncture Center, passionate about helping people who suffer from illness and pains. She strongly believes that diseases and pain are a sign that the body is out of balance, so she works with the goal of improving her clients’ overall wellbeing.

In her career years, she worked as a doctor’s assistant at prominent medical institutions like Shandong Hospital of T.C.M. and Dr. Sang’s Acupuncture Clinic, Sugar Land, TX. She also worked with JF Southwest Heart Clinic P.A., Houston, TX as a clinical assistant. Tapping from her educational background, Cunyu holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chinese Herbology from Chengdu University of T.C.M. and a Master of Science in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine from Texas Health and Science University. She earned the title, Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science.

A reputable professional in her field, Cunyu, aside from being licensed by the Texas Medical Board, is also a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She is certified in the Clean Needle Technique by the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (CCAOM). As someone with strong work ethics, she constantly demonstrates persistence and resourcefulness in providing relief to people from different backgrounds and cultures who strive for personal well-being through Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine treatment. Besides, Cunyu is a twin; her twin brother is currently studying for his Ph.D. in quantum physics at the University of Illinois. Whenever she’s off professional duties, she enjoys eating, cooking, and traveling.
